Pipe Lighter Review

The Modern Match

The Modern Match

Hello fellow indulgers of the briar bliss bowl! We are proud to announce that after several weeks of intense testing in the high tech BrenandSven lab (Bren’s girlfriend’s dad’s garage and front porch), we are now able to provide a sufficient review of our first pipe lighter. Now many pipe enthusiasts, including us until now, have sworn by the almighty match. Oh what a false deity that was. After venturing into new territory with a lighter Bren received for his birthday, we have found a new pipe Prometheus to pray to. The lighter in question is a Vector Monarch Pipe Lighter Pipe Lighter Review. The lighter is fueled by butane and fully equipped with a plethora of pipe tools that are neatly packed into the side of the lighter like a little combustible Swiss army knife. The price is $40, and well worth it! The lighter provides the perfect flame for a pipe. It does not burn too hot and provides no smell or taste that is often associated with other lighters such as Zippos. Now $40 may seem like a bit more to spend than what you normally fork out for your average box of matches, but the convenience factor well makes up for that. It is much easier to keep lit, it works in windy or unfavorable conditions, and you don’t have to worry about throwing away a small forest of matches after a good smoke. The only down side to the little silver fire stick is that you must recharge it with butane more that we would have preferred, but butane in not that pricey (About $5) and it is very easy and quick to refill.  All in all, I have been thoroughly impressed by the lighter and would recomend it for any pipe enthusiast.
